Business Climate Call
Respect Climate is the initiator of the Business Climate Call. It consists of some 40 companies seeking to take responsibility and contribute to climate change solutions through commercially viable mechanisms. The companies have adopted a vision of climate neutrality, i.e. to pursue business without contributing to global warming. The first step is to reduce the emissions as per the EU’s objective, i.e., by 30% by 2020 and by 60-80% by 2050, against a 1990 baseline.
The company’s commitments:
- To work systematically on climate change issues for three years.
- To estimate the company’s greenhouse gas emissions.
- To encourage and support their customers and suppliers to strive towards climate neutrality.
