BLIHR

 
Business Leaders' Initiative on Human Rights – BLIHR – was initiated by Respect in 2003. The purpose was to find concrete and efficient methods to secure Human Rights in business. The work is now completed in its' first phase and the results are being implemented in the companies' organisations and supply chains worldwide. BLIHR has gathered 16 of the world's largest corporations from different sectors.
 
Mary Robinson, former UN Commissioner on Human Rights and former President of Ireland, was honorary chairman of BLIHR.
