Road to Copenhagen

The solution of the climate issue is the fateful question of our time. This is why Respect initiated an international collaboration project between Club of Madrid, consisting of former prime ministers, presidents and parlamentarians, the network GLOBE and the company network Respect Table.

The group was named Road to Copenhagen. The initiating spokespersons of the network was Margot Wallström, Gro Harlem Bruntland and Mary Robinson.

The aim was to gather knowledge and good examples on work on the climate issue, and by that contribute to an ambitious agreement at COP15 in Copenhagen in 2009. It is decisive that business and politics collaborate in solving the climate issue and to avoid a climate crisis.
